Literature & Communications 11/12

Literature and Communication is a course that will empower students to become skilled readers through the thoughtful analysis, interpretation, and discussion of a variety of texts. The literary content of the course will consist of selections from British, American, and world literature. This course is designed to expose students to a wide variety of writing genres and styles in preparation for post-secondary and workplace writing. Writing assignments are connected to aspects of each student's life as well as to the literature currently being read. Public speaking and group components are also requirements of the course.
