Intro to Robotics

Introduction to robotics is an exciting new course offered by the Marion Center Area School District that showcases mechanical motion and computer science coding.  This course will teach the basics of assembly, schematic mapping, infographic flowcharts, pseudocoding, machine coding in C++, autonomous operation, and Artificial Intelligence.  

 

All participants will have the opportunity to compete for a spot on the Marion Center Robotics Team to represent MC in the Heritage Conference Battle Bots.

 

Students will also be prepared for competition in the Western Pennsylvania Vex challenge competitions, pending scheduling during the 2021-2022 school year.  Students will compete internally if competitions are not available during this school year.

 

Computer Science Discoveries (8) or equivalent.  See your guidance counselor for details.
