Course Description:
Students who are interested in sports and business will find this to be an exciting class. During this course, students will learn Management and Marketing principles while applying them to sports and entertainment organizations. They will learn how to plan, organize, lead, and control techniques to manage organizations. Also the students will learn about school and intercollegiate athletics, professional sports, sports marketing, facilities planning, accounting and finance in sports and entertainment, and sports law and sports agents. As well as learning about these concepts, you will also discuss emerging issues and current events in sports and entertainment venues management and marketing.
