Intro to Business

Introduction to Business is designed to introduce students to the world of work and
business, enable them to explore a variety of business career opportunities, and provide
an understanding of human relations and employability skills. Class members will
become acquainted with the skills, abilities, and attitudes necessary for successful job
performance. This course enables students to develop career decision-making skills and
will encourage them to consider additional business training. Major topics include the
world of work, entrepreneurship, banking, accounting, marketing, and work-related
topics including work ethics, employer expectations, communication, and the various
aspects of business.
