Citizenship

Course Description:
Citizenship is a full-year course which reviews basic historic, government, economic, and civic related ideas previously encountered in the lower grades. These ideas will then be expanded upon in class through readings and in-depth discussion via their relationships to contemporary events and constitutional issues. This is an issues oriented, discussion-based class which calls the development of individual and group research skills that are needed for any student to become a responsible and productive citizen.
