Honors Modern World History

Honors World History is the elective option for 10th grade World History.  This course is an excellent option for students seeking a more in-depth study and discussion of history and those students considering taking Advanced Placement courses in the future.  The course will cover the Modern World from 1400 to the Present.  The emphasis is on European History with a world perspective.  Students will do a considerable amount of outside reading from the college level textbook used in the course as well as primary resources.
