Integrated Physical Science

This course is offered as an alternative to chemistry and is recommended for academically
average students who are not planning on majoring in science or attending a four-year postsecondary
education. This is a physical science course that introduces the broad spectrum of
science study while developing reading and math skills. This course maintains a traditional
emphasis on physical science while integrating physics, chemistry, earth science, and space
science. This course begins with chemistry and builds to physics, so students apply the math they
have learned as they progress.
