Biology II is a continuation (and more in-depth study) of the concepts covered in Academic Biology. This course is for students who have demonstrated advanced interest and knowledge in science. Information covered in this course includes, but is not limited to: scientific method and classification, biodiversity, microorganisms, infectious diseases including viruses and vaccines, forensics, biotechnology, and careers in the field of biology. This course will require dissection of animal specimens. If this is problematic, it should be addressed promptly.
