Agricultural Mechanical Technology II
Course Description:
This class is designed to provide an introduction to students interested in an agricultural technical or mechanical career. Students will be able to develop basic welding skills, the ability to estimate building materials, basic plumbing skills through many hands-on activities in a laboratory and shop environment. Technical areas in agriculture will encompass crops and soils, conservation of natural resources and many others. Students will also explore agribusiness and leadership skill development that will enhance their ability to choose a career. This course is an 80 minute shop course and earns 2 course credits.
