Principles of Plant Science ASP I

Horticulture I is designed to build on fundamental horticulture principles. Care will be taken to treat highly technical subjects such as: plant propagation, micro propagation, and taxonomy. Hydroponics and aquaculture will be teamed to produce crops using new and up-to-date technologies. Landscape design and management of ornamental plants will be explored. Special areas including the creation of terrariums and floral design will be developed. In addition, pesticide safety and the protection of human beings and the environment will be addressed.
