American History 8

American History 8 begins with a review of theories of how North America first became populated, such as the Land Bridge Theory. We review the colonial period of America and the events leading to the Revolutionary War. We explore the Era of Jefferson, the Age of Jackson, western expansion and Manifest Destiny, the industrialization of the north, the Civil War and we finish with the reconstruction of the south.
