French I

This course is offered to the student who wants to speak a foreign language.  Emphasis is placed upon vocabulary, pronunciation and modern French culture as well as upon those words and phrases used in everyday life.  Students are encouraged to strive for proficiency in speaking and comprehending spoken French.
