Course Description:
This course introduces the fundamentals of graphic design to students interested in desktop publishing. Students learn to use type/fonts, layout, balance, color, and other design elements to produce logos, business cards, coupons, menus, advertisements, billboards, banners, and t-shirts for a food establishment. This course is based on the premise that design is best learned through application.
